A few days into the boil water advisory for the Lower Mainland of B.C. and my thoughts are of the big problems we in Canada have with our water infrastructure. This is going to take billions of dollars to fix. It is a huge endeavour to solve a problem we never really properly addressed in our history. We haven't addressed it yet because we've had it easy for years. We are the OPEC of water, we have more than any other country and it will become more and more important as we march futher into the 21st century to safeguard this vital resource.
